Strathfield Excavation Project, under house excavation for 64sqm room.
Brief: Excavate underuse to create a new space of 64sqm including external staircase to join existing house.
Project: We Excavated and disposed 260 Tonnes of Clay and Shale to create the space. We then built 2.6m high retaining walls and constructed underpinning of 21 lineal meters/ 40 Tonnes of concrete at 2.1m high, poured a concrete slab on ground and a installed a 3000 litre sump pit for drainage.
This created a new space with a ceiling height of 2.7meters for use.
