Woollahra Project

Conducted Needle and propping, underpinning, sub-floor conversion and retaining walls.

Project brief:

Another spectacular heritage house, with our partners pacific plus contractions.

Scope:

Prop and needle, half of the existing residence, drop existing ground floor, retain above first floor and excavate below natural ground level to 3 metres in depth.

  • Step 1: Open needle penetration
  • Step 2: Place needle
  • Step 3: Add props down onto pads
  • Step 4: Ensure all needles and propos are all level and plum and every nut and bolt is tight
  • Step 5: Brace all needles and props.
  • Step 6: Dig out tri-shores pads
  • Step 7: Place structural beams (these beams will take the load of the first floor).
  • Step 8: Once all is checked the final stages of demolition can take place.
  • Step 9: Excavation begins
  • Step 10: Slab can be poured
  • Step 11: Building of walls to under/up to beams can now commence
  • Step 12: Building is now ready to be taken off tri-shores and left on the new walls.
