Conducted Needle and propping, underpinning, sub-floor conversion and retaining walls.
Project brief:
Another spectacular heritage house, with our partners pacific plus contractions.
Scope:
Prop and needle, half of the existing residence, drop existing ground floor, retain above first floor and excavate below natural ground level to 3 metres in depth.
- Step 1: Open needle penetration
- Step 2: Place needle
- Step 3: Add props down onto pads
- Step 4: Ensure all needles and propos are all level and plum and every nut and bolt is tight
- Step 5: Brace all needles and props.
- Step 6: Dig out tri-shores pads
- Step 7: Place structural beams (these beams will take the load of the first floor).
- Step 8: Once all is checked the final stages of demolition can take place.
- Step 9: Excavation begins
- Step 10: Slab can be poured
- Step 11: Building of walls to under/up to beams can now commence
- Step 12: Building is now ready to be taken off tri-shores and left on the new walls.
